Character Development

Me and my cousin are developing a story idea I've had for a long time, called 'A Nyght's Tale'. The characters were created ages ago but the story had never been fleshed out properly.
As I said the story is being written fully and will hopefully be put forward in some form in the future, either in a comic form or a game or something.

Anyway, I've been working on the character designs and discovered my characterization and character development has come on a lot recently.

Grulff, Nyghts companion. Dreamworld form (left) and real
world form. (right)

Nightmares just got real...

I wanted to have an experiment today, and play around with making a pretend move poster for my in progress RPG Maker game 'A Nyght's Tale'.
The creature on the poster is Grulff, and he's really just a big cutie!

Id love to so some more like this, but I don't know if I will get round to it.
It was very fun to do though!

I've also bought myself an A3 size poster of it! Cant wait to stick it on my wall! hehe

UPDATE-
Here's another one

Okami

Various Fanart of Okami.
Its such a beautiful game with a beautiful art style. It inspires me to draw every time I play.
The first one is Amaterasu, the main character.
Second one is my character Grulff, but in an Okami style.
The last one is a scene from the game, when Amaterasu howls to the moon and blossom
flies across the screen. It was a very wonderful scene, I had to try and
replicate it.

All done with a brush pen and watercolour.
The final one had colours added on photoshop.
